The village of Goonhavern has a public house with restaurant 'The New
Inn' also a shop, garden centre with a day restaurant 'The Bay Tree' all within walking distance.
Between Sunny Meadows and Perranporth there is an 18 hole link golf course that proves
quite a challenge. Within easy reach there is a riding school at Reen Manor, taking visitor's around the lanes and if
they are competent riders on to Perranporth Beach, being 3 miles long with the Atlantic Surf making it a very popular haven
for all ages.
Perranporth has the usual restaurants, cafes
and gift shops, Chemist Doctor's surgery and Dentist together with Lloyds TSB and filling stations available.
Although buses pass the entrance of the site, Perranporth has routes going to other
destinations than Newquay and Truro.
